Charolais-Brionnais

Just picture the woodland and a mosaic of greenery. Here and there, scattered around like white confetti, the famous Charolais cattle graze peacefully in the fields. Take a leaf out of their book, and just enjoy the moment and the peace-and-quiet all around you.

Pays de l'Auxois

The Burgundy countryside also stretches as far as the Auxois region, with Morvan on one side and Dijon on the other.

Here, you'll instantly feel relaxed, especially alongside Burgundy Canal. Either by boat or on foot or by bike along the water's edge, you'll soon see the benefits of slow tourism.

Good news for fans of cultural sites, there's so much to see here, including beautiful villages, historic sites, and châteaus!

Let's go to the Auxois region!

Bresse Bourguignonne

This is another place that has been blessed by the gods, an ode to the good things in life, thanks to the gastronomy, culture and lush green environment here. A holiday here in the great outdoors is good for the body and soul.

This applies to visitors as well as the natives, such as the Bresse Poultry. Here, we take good care of our birds. The result is an exceptional product, just like this little region itself!

Let's go to Bresse!

Good to know

A natural area that is a firm favourite of French writer Alexandre Dumas

In his travel writing, Travel Impressions, Alexandre Dumas wrote that no place could make him forget his "little valley in Burgundy". He was talking about the Cirque du Bout du Monde  (Cirque at the Edge of the World), a steephead valley similar to the one in the Jura, with a waterfall and stream. Alexander Dumas described the place as:

A little place that is so peaceful, so isolated, so unknown
